Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as when you create an account, submit a form, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, communicate with you, and comply with legal obligations.
Usage measurement and error reports
We use PostHog Cloud EU, hosted in Frankfurt, as our processor to understand how Stay is used and to find errors. Each feature is switched on separately for the marketing site, the guest portal, the staff portal and Stay's admin pages.
- With your consent, asked separately on each part of Stay: pages visited (with access codes and links removed from addresses), clicks with their text hidden, page performance, reports of errors that break a page and, on the marketing site, staff pages and Stay admin pages, screen recordings with all text, form fields and images hidden. The guest portal and kiosk are never recorded. Until you choose, nothing is sent.
- On a shared kiosk: anonymous counts of what is used, kept in the kiosk's memory only, with no personal data and no consent stored on the device.
- Staff are identified to PostHog only by an internal user ID and their organization ID, never by name or email.
- Assistant: for each AI reply we record the model, token counts, timing, cost and errors. Never the messages themselves.
PostHog does not store your IP address for us. Events and recordings are deleted at the end of PostHog's standard retention period. You can withdraw consent at any time from Cookie settings, and ask us to delete your data at [email protected].
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
